  • Yaroslav Lyubinets

    Yaroslav Lyubinets

    Chairman of the Board

    Mr. Lyubinets is a seasoned business leader in the IT industry, currently serving as the chairman of SoftServe. With over 30 years of experience, he has established himself as a visionary professional growing IT businesses and facilitating digital transformation journeys for numerous customers.

    Throughout his three-decade tenure at SoftServe, Yaroslav has held various pivotal roles, ranging from engineering to executive management. His contributions include serving as the vice president of engineering and as a longstanding member of SoftServe's Board of Directors.

    Prior to SoftServe, Mr. Lyubinets excelled in academia and research. He spent over a decade teaching and conducting research at Lviv Polytechnic University. He also managed the development and implementation of numerous information systems for various businesses. Additionally, he has lent his expertise to advisory and qualification boards for educational programs at several universities.

    Mr. Lyubinets has obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Lviv Polytechnic University. He graduated from the Applied Mathematics Faculty of Lviv State University and further honed his leadership acumen through programs such as the President MBA program at Kyiv Mohyla Business School and Harvard Business School.

    Yura Vasylyk has over 20 years of experience in the IT and outsourcing services industry. At SoftServe, he led and managed a software delivery team of over 2,000 people. Additionally, he cultivated and maintained strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring efficient and profitable software delivery operations.

    Yura was accountable for the company's acquisition strategy and implementation. He evaluated SoftServe's ability to deliver services globally, ensuring we met high standards, exceeded client expectations, and adhered to industry norms. Over the years, he also managed revenue at SoftServe, overseeing and optimizing the company's income.

    Yura obtained his MBA in Management Information Systems from the Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

  • Taras Kytsmey

    Taras Kytsmey

    Member of the Board

    Taras Kytsmey is a co-founder and board member of SoftServe. Between 1997 and 2013, he was the company's president, guiding us to become a leader in software development and technology consulting. He was chairman of the IT Ukraine Association in 2011, 2016, and 2020, and he's been a member of the European Business Association (EBA) board since 2018.

    Taras is actively engaged in the Ukrainian IT community and often takes the stage as a panel speaker discussing Ukraine's offshore software development industry. He also advocates for implementing innovative IT educational programs to empower individuals to succeed in the tech industry. Recognizing his contributions to Ukraine's IT, Taras was honored with the Order of the Lion by the Lviv City Council in 2018.

    Taras graduated from the Applied Mathematics Faculty of Lviv National Ivan Franko University and obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science. From 1992 to 2002, he was a Lviv National Polytechnic University professor. In 2012, Taras completed Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management Program.

  • Chris Baker

    Chris Baker

    Chris Baker joined SoftServe as a board advisor in 2012 and became a board member in 2013. From 2015 to 2023, he served as CEO. Under his leadership, SoftServe has grown into a leading global software engineering and digital transformation company, while doubling in size nearly every two years.

    Before joining SoftServe, Chris was the president and CTO of 360incentives.com. Prior to that role, he was an active angel investor, following his tenure as president of Group 1 Software, a prominent enterprise-class data quality company. Earlier in his career, Chris founded MailCode Inc., a leading global provider of technology solutions for mail processing through optical character reading. He also holds multiple patents, including one for Differential Weighing, a method designed to increase the speed and efficiency of weighing mail pieces.

    Chris holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology with honors from Purdue University and has been honored as a Distinguished Purdue Alumni.

    Taras Vervega is a Co-Founder and Board Member of SoftServe. As a renowned Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist, Taras actively supports the advancement of the Ukrainian IT industry. He collaborates with European and US organizations to promote Ukraine's technological innovation potential at a global level.

    Taras has a Computer Science Degree from Lviv National Polytechnic University. In 2015, Taras Vervega was recognized as the Benefactor of the Year in the '2015 People of Lviv' Awards.

  • Vilnis Ezerins

    Vilnis Ezerins

    Member of the Board

    Vilnis Ezerins has been a board member of SoftServe since 2007. In 2012, he also assumed the position of director and chair of the strategy committee, overseeing software product development for U.S.-based commercial software vendors and technology-enabled corporate clients. Over the years at SoftServe, Vilnis has brought extensive experience in enterprise management, with a strong focus on marketing and business development.

    In 1979, he founded Ezerins Realty in Springfield, MA, focusing on investing in bank-foreclosed residential apartment buildings. Then, in 1982, Vilnis teamed up with a partner to establish Advanced Marketing Concepts and Business West. In 1985, he sold his interest in the venture to the partner. Later, he started AdMail Corp. in Springfield, MA, which eventually evolved into AccuData, Inc., a nationwide provider of integrated marketing services, and relocated to Cape Coral, FL.

    In 2000, Vilnis founded Alvion Inc., a technology company serving the direct marketing industry. Alvion had significant operations in Sevastopol, Ukraine. In 2006, the company was sold to an investor/management group.

  • Harry Propper

    Harry Propper

    Harry Propper is a seasoned business leader who has been working in the technology industry for over 30 years. Throughout his career, he has helped customers achieve their objectives in various roles, including as a consultant, sales leader, and product development expert.

    Harry stepped into the role of SoftServe CEO at the end of 2023. He joined SoftServe in 2008 and has devoted a significant part of his career to the company, taking on different roles, including a year on the board of directors. Previously, as global president between 2019 and 2022, Harry oversaw all aspects of SoftServe's service delivery. He was accountable for leading engineering and customer-facing teams globally while growing and developing a strong client solutions team — all focused on assuring our clients’ success by delivering an excellent experience.

    Before joining SoftServe, Harry founded and sold two software companies and was CEO of a nonprofit social services organization. As for his educational background, he holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology.

  • Oleh Denys

    Oleh Denys

    Member of the Board

    Oleh Denys joined SoftServe as a director in 1996, contributing significantly to the organization's early development. Since then, he has effectively overseen various aspects of the company's operations. For over 20 years, Oleh has successfully managed the legal and public affairs departments, as well as the office administration department.

    Since 2010, Oleh has served as executive vice president of administration. Presently, he is responsible for developing the internal audit competence for the entire corporation.

    Oleh graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University with a degree in systems engineering. He then continued his professional education by earning a degree in managerial economics and later completed the MBA program at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
