LVIV, Ukraine (July 17, 2024) - SoftServe's Charity Fund, Open Eyes, is launching a new project called "Health Drive Mission" to help Ukrainians during the war. As part of the project, the fund, together with medics, plans to set up mobile medical clinics by purchasing ambulances and necessary medical equipment. The clinics will operate in the border regions of eastern Ukraine, as residents of these regions do not have full access to medical services.

The first goal of the new "Health Drive Mission" project is to provide a mobile clinic for the Sumy region. The fund plans to raise for this - UAH 2 million. The fundraising has already started among SoftServe employees as part of the Company's Day. Instead of a traditional celebration, the company is directing its efforts to help civilian Ukrainians. It also strengthens one of the fund's main directions of work - medical evacuation. Everyone can contribute to this project also by following this link.

"One of the main areas of our fund's work is to help medics who save the lives of civilians and soldiers in times of war. With this project, we want to help people living in the border regions of Ukraine. They are practically deprived of medical services due to prolonged power outages, frequent shelling, and transportation difficulties. Especially the elderly, pregnant women, children, and adults with disabilities need help and regular check-ups. So we are launching a fundraising project for mobile clinics and equipment that will help medics and give people a chance to survive in the tough conditions of war," comments Viktoria Mishchuk, Director of the Charity Fund "Open Eyes.

The first mobile clinic is planned to be ready to help patients this autumn. The "Health Drive Mission" is a part of the fund's main project - "Drive for Life". Within this project, for the third year in a row, the fund has been purchasing ambulances and medical vehicles for evacuation, equipping them and handing them over to the frontline, saving the lives of military and civilians. As part of the project, the fund has already delivered 223 vehicles, which, according to preliminary estimates, save the lives of about 18 thousand people every year.

SoftServe has already allocated more than UAH 1 billion 200 million to help the country. You can join the project via this link.
