KHARKIV, Ukraine (June 4, 2024) - SoftServe announces the launch of a new joint educational program with Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. This year, 150 students will enroll in specialty "Computer Engineering" at the Department of Electronic Computers.

From the first year, students will follow an updated educational program designed to optimize the sequence of subjects and enhance the educational content. As part of the program, students will gain proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, and Python and learn to design cloud services and mobile applications. Starting from their third year, students will learn about the realities of the IT industry and have the opportunity to gain practical experience during internships.

“This year we conducted a study of students' needs to better understand how we can help them. It turned out that the most common problems are a lack of mentoring and a lack of motivation, and students also have a request to strengthen the relevance of programs. We are already successfully addressing these challenges by implementing joint educational programs with universities. And the fact that this year we will be able to support students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics is an important achievement for us” – comments Olha Dolia, Educational Partnership Associate Director, SoftServe.

Experienced mentors will work with students continuously, and beginners will have the opportunity to attend additional lectures to develop communication and organizational skills such as teamwork, business thinking, and leadership. Additionally, in-depth technical courses will be offered each year to help newcomers understand the specifics of different development areas and choose the most interesting paths for themselves.

SoftServe currently has nine joint educational programs across four cities in Ukraine. The first program, "Internet of Things," was launched at Lviv Polytechnic University in 2016 in collaboration with several IT companies from the Lviv IT Cluster. Despite the ongoing war, SoftServe continues to invest in technical education. In 2022, the company launched three more joint educational programs in Dnipro, Kyiv, and Kharkiv.
