WROCŁAW, Poland (July 25, 2024) – SoftServe proudly marks its 10th anniversary in Poland, commemorating a decade of innovation, growth, and partnership. Since opening its first development center in Wroclaw, SoftServe has become an integral part of Poland's dynamic IT sector, which now employs nearly half a million people.

A Decade of Progress

In 2014, SoftServe made a strategic decision to enter the European market and open development centers in Poland and Bulgaria, marking an important milestone in the company's history and paving the way for more partnerships and innovations.

"Before 2014, our focus was primarily on US clients. Entering the European market transformed our business," reflects Volodymyr Semenyshyn, EMEA President at SoftServe. "The EMEA team quickly became the largest within SoftServe, capturing major portfolios and now accounting for a substantial portion of our clientele. The contributions of our Polish and Bulgarian teams have been pivotal in this success and continue to drive our development."

Building Expertise and Innovation

Starting as a small team, SoftServe Poland has expanded to a community of 1,400 experts in 15 Centers of Excellence. Since 2017, SoftServe Poland has invested in a robust Big Data competency center and, most recently, a growing AI expertise hub.

"AI is now a key solution in the Polish business services sector, driving demand for advanced business transformations," states Sebastian Drzewiecki, Country Manager of SoftServe Poland. "We are committed to developing cutting-edge consulting and implementation skills, hiring top talent to advance DevOps and Data Science practices."

SoftServe Poland's teams are actively involved in Horizon Europe projects like Touchless AI and the TWAIN initiative, which leverages AI and digitalization to enhance wind power capacity in the EU.
