LVIV, Ukraine (April 3, 2025) - The Superhumans Center in partnership with SoftServe and the Open Eyes Charity Fund, has opened a renovated space for the treatment of war-affected patients. The whole new floor will accommodate veterans and civilians in need of facial and limb reconstruction.

The space features eight fully equipped hospital rooms that can host 17 patients. Currently, Superhumans is treating and rehabilitating 230 patients at the center. As part of the renovation, the space was redesigned and renewed— with fully equipped hospital rooms and a cozy lounge area to help patients feel comfortable during their recovery.

This is now one of the best floors in our center. For seven months, we worked together with SoftServe to ensure everything was designed with accessibility, inclusivity, and patient comfort in mind. In addition to fully equipped rooms with accessible WC’s, there’s also a small rehabilitation room, a procedure room for blood and other lab tests, and an occupational therapy room. Patients staying here are either undergoing rehabilitation or post-operative care,
said Olga Rudneva, CEO of Superhumans.

SoftServe committed $1 million to its partnership with Superhumans back in 2023.

Our collaboration started with a joint US-Ukrainian prosthetics mission, during which more than ten Ukrainian medical professionals were trained and more than 20 patients received prosthetics. Today, we’re opening a newly renovated hospital space for patients of the center. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how people are recovering both physically and mentally here, and to experience the positive atmosphere that surrounds them. Both the Superhumans Center and our society have a lot of work ahead with veterans and civilians on their treatment and reintegration. That’s why it’s so important for us to stay involved and contribute to this process,
said Oleh Denys, co-founder and member of the board at SoftServe.

In addition to the mission and financial support of the hospital space opening, SoftServe is also working on another project with Superhumans — the development of a mobile application.

While we’re wrapping up one phase of our collaboration with Superhumans, we’re already actively working together in other areas — in technological one. Our tech specialists are currently developing a mobile app for the Superhumans’ patients so they can stay connected after discharge, track their condition and any changes, and ensure timely medical responses. This app is being developed by our volunteers through the internal Open Tech platform,
comments Anastasiya Frolova, Country Manager Ukraine, SoftServe.
