Google Cloud and SoftServe Meet-up: Machine Learning Design, Demystified in Amsterdam

When

Oct 30, 2018

Where

Hotel Arena - Amsterdam, the Netherlands

WHAT

Join us at the Hotel Arena for our free meet-up, “Machine Learning Design, Demystified” for free food, beer, and discussion on machine learning (ML) architecture.

Once available only to scientists, machine learning is now open to a much broader audience of software architects and engineers. Inspired by attribute-driven design (ADD) and Smart Decisions (a software architecture design game for big data), the authors will present a new version of the game focused on designing ML systems.

In this participatory session, we will simulate state-of-the-art ML design systems by analyzing both business and technical requirements, then selecting the best matching algorithms, and finally, teaching how to validate early design decisions using rapid prototyping techniques.

Attendees are encouraged to think of an ML use case and bring it to the meet-up for discussion.
