HITS is more than a once a year event. It is a year-round series of industry initiatives and meetings supporting all major Hollywood studios and their service provider partners. The Hollywood IT Society (HITS)–the professional organization behind the annual Summits—is at the forefront of emerging developments in smart content, digital supply chain, content protection, and next-gen entertainment experiences. Managed by the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA), HITS has expanded its ranks to include offices and operations in Hollywood, New York, and London. HITS produces both the Spring and Fall summits in Los Angeles, the Broadcast IT Summit in New York City, and contributes thought leadership to conferences and events across all of MESA’s communities.

The Hollywood IT Society is a community of IT technologists representing Hollywood studios, independent content creators, and supporting information technology partners. The Society embraces the entire entertainment industry consisting of movie studios, TV networks, home entertainment divisions, video game publishers, and music labels.

About MESA
