A Month of Good Deeds in SoftServe

For several weeks, the company's employees initiate and support volunteer activities to help those who need it the most.

Currently, most of the company's charitable projects and those of the SoftServe Open Eyes Charitable Foundation are aimed at helping medicians fight the Covid-19 pandemic. However, even this year, our associates decided to hold a number of fundraising and volunteering events not related to the help to hospitals by involving the Ukrainian offices of the company.

In Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Rivne, and Ivano-Frankivsk, our colleagues collected equipment (smartphones, tablets, laptops, e-books, and audio players), which they donated for the educational needs of children from low-income and crisis families supported by Caritas Ukraine Charitable Foundation in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Kyiv, the All-Ukrainian charity organization "Darunok" in Rivne, the project "Misto Dobra" in Chernivtsi. And in Kharkiv, as part of a social project of the public organization "Emmaus", philanthropists from SoftServe accumulated different household appliances and computers, as well as other necessary household items to help graduates of orphanages who are just beginning their independent lives.

In Dnipro and Chernivtsi, SoftServe volunteers also organized activities to help local animal shelters. In particular, in Dnipro volunteers helped local shelter, which saves injured and abandoned animals that SoftServe IT Academy students from Dnipro created a website for earlier this year.

Our colleagues from Poland took over the initiative from Ukrainian offices and started another Month of Good Deeds. Volunteers are offered to join several good-will opportunities during November.
