SoftServe Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Reports for Enhanced Data Security

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 29, 2023) – SoftServe, a premier IT consulting and digital services provider, today announced it has successfully passed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Service Organization Control (SOC®) 2 Examination and has received the SOC 2 Type 2 report. Through an independent auditors’ examination, this achievement validates SoftServe’s commitment to ensuring the protection of customer data and regulatory compliance.

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is an internationally recognized verification of how organizations safeguard customer data security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, or privacy.

This accomplishment comes one year after obtaining the SOC 2 Type 1 report, which demonstrates the processes, procedures, and solutions implemented across SoftServe, whereas the SOC 2 Type 2 report proves the effectiveness of these controls in today’s practice.

In addition to SOC 2, the SOC 3 report has been developed based on the AICPA Trust Service Criteria. SOC 3 is a public report of internal controls and is available to download here.
