SANTIAGO, Chile (March 11, 2025) — Eight months after its launch, SoftServe’s Talent Acceleration Program in Chile has trained 132 young professionals in the Ñuble region, equipping them with advanced technical skills and hands-on experience working on real projects for international clients. Participants also received English training, enhancing their opportunities in the global tech industry.

The program drew 404 applications, with selected students representing 16 universities and professional institutes across Ñuble, Biobío, and Maule. All participants were either in their final year of study or recent graduates from technology-related fields.

During the training, students were mentored by industry experts and learned in-demand IT skills, including Python, .NET, Java, React, Mobile, Go, and DevOps. They also had access to nine free English courses at different proficiency levels.

Top-performing students will have the chance to advance to Project Labs, a more specialized program that allows them to continue English classes and complete an internship at SoftServe Chile. The internship may lead to a full-time position at the company, which was named the best workplace for young talent in the Employer For Youth (EFY) ranking.

Alejandro Zeballos, Country Learning & Talent Development Lead at SoftServe Chile, highlighted the program’s impact: "We know that developing great talent takes a lot of work, which is why we are ready to invest not only time but also our knowledge and experience—because that’s how a better future is built. This program recognizes the potential of Ñuble and helps strengthen its tech ecosystem.”

The Talent Acceleration Program is part of foreign investment initiatives in Ñuble, where SoftServe is establishing a tech hub focused on IT services and software development. The initiative is also supported by Corfo’s IFI Technological Investment Program, funded by the Regional Government.

Ñuble’s regional minister of economy, Erick Solo de Zaldívar, emphasized: "The arrival of new industries, such as technology development, is diversifying our economy and creating quality job opportunities for the people of Ñuble. These types of initiatives not only drive productive modernization but also position the region as a hub for technological innovation."

In addition to the Talent Acceleration Program in central-southern Chile, SoftServe has launched several initiatives to foster IT talent growth in the country. Through SoftServe Academy, the company offers Advanced Training Programs to prepare new technology professionals in areas such as .NET, Kotlin, and quality control. So far, 29 graduates have completed the program, with 11 joining SoftServe projects as trainees.

SoftServe has also formed strategic partnerships with educational institutions, including the University of Santiago de Chile (USACH) and the Mathematical Modeling Center at the University of Chile. The company has participated in more than 10 university events and job fairs, reaching over 2,500 students exploring career opportunities in the tech industry.
