SoftServe Mexico joins UN Global Compact

With this adhesion, SoftServe Mexico commits to comply with the Ten Principles of the United Nations Compact, focused on the environment, anti-corruption labor standards and human rights. A step that the leading global IT company in software development and consulting had already taken worldwide, through SoftServe Inc. (USA), and locally through its representations in Ukraine and soon also in Colombia.

"For SoftServe, it is vital to adopt responsible practices aligned with the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, as well as the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that complement it. In recent years, we have redoubled our efforts to be ambassadors of change, also inviting other companies to undertake their sustainable reinvention, starting with our clients", says Vladimir Mendoza, SoftServe's Country Manager.

Known internationally as UN Global Compact, SoftServe Mexico has joined this important initiative that seeks to be a learning platform for corporate sustainability best practices around the world.

"Building the future we want not only involves having sustainable offices, using renewable energies or designing IT solutions with a low carbon footprint, things we already do; but also implementing diversity, equity and inclusion actions with internal and external communities, an aspect in which we have advanced within the country with recent initiatives such as EmpowerU and our incorporation to Working Positively", concludes Vladimir Mendoza.
