APAC R&D Lead, Quantum Team Research Engineer

As SoftServe’s APAC Research & Development Lead, Jonas Tan Yick Wei spearheads initiatives that connect SoftServe with the wider experimental technology research ecosystem. His focus is on technologies that are likely to become commercially viable within the next 2 - 10 years.

Tan works with SoftServe’s Global Quantum Team to develop industry applications that address industry challenges in finance, healthcare, and logistics. He is passionate about understanding how quantum technologies interact with society and the epistemological implications of quantum computing. Prior to working at SoftServe, Tan graduated from Yale - NUS with a Mathematics major and Physics minor and worked at research labs on quantum error correction and machine learning applications.
